FOLLICLE INTENSE DEFENCE - reverse noticeable loss of hair

Follicle Intense Defence is the most advanced and potent of our Follicle Treatments and contains a full spectrum of active ingredients to help turn around noticeably thinning hair. It contains a unique peptide derived from red clover formulated to inhibit 5AR reductase that, with DHT (dihydrotestosterone), can shorten the growth cycle of hair.

Follicle Intense Defence is for you if:

• you can see more exposed scalp and less hair across the top of your head
• you’re changing your style to hide the problem
• you rely on cosmetic thickening products to cover up the exposed scalp and give the appearance of more hair
• your thinning hair has had sun exposure. This can trigger compound superoxide production and temporarily interrupt the hair growth cycle, causing hair follicles to skip from the growth part of the hair cycle to the shedding phase. 
• you feel you may have left it too late to take action (you haven't)

HOW IT WORKS

Hairfix Follicle Intense Defence targets visible thinning in five ways:

1. Trifolium Pratense Red Clover Flower Extract: a peptide formulated to reduce the impact of DHT-induced root shrinkage, stimulate anchoring proteins and extend the hair growth cycle;
2. Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer: olive fruit extract to optimise hair bulb oxygenation and improve the quality of the yield from the follicle.
3. Caffeine counteracts the shrinkage in hair follicles that can lead to hair loss (further information);
4. Hairfix’s own phytokeratin, a vitamin extract of wheat, soy and corn, can help existing hair feel naturally thicker and healthier;
   
5. Acacia Senegal Gum - a plant extract in a water base that soothes the scalp whilst gently releasing Intense Defence's active ingredients for up to 72 hours, so that it delivers continuous improvements.

Please note: Hairfix Follicle Intense Defence is formulated to help counter and slow age-related, hormone-induced hair loss, particularly in women. It is not a cure for baldness/male pattern baldness. Follicle Intense Defence has no cosmetic volumising function. If you experience sudden hair loss, please consult your GP.

1. For best results apply on dry hair before bed or on towel-dried hair, 2-3 times per week.

2. Depress the button the cap to fill the dropper, remove dropper and apply by running the tip of the dropper across the top of the scalp* whilst tapping on the button to dispense Intense Defence. Gently massage the serum into your scalp.

3. Dosage: one or two drops to areas where hair is most sparse, usually the hairline, parting and crown (* hair roots on the sides and back of the scalp are less susceptible to damage and so will generally not require application)

4. If applying before bed, simply brush through in the morning; if applying to towel-dried hair, style as usual.

When used as described there should be a visual improvement in the hair in the first week. With continued application at this dosage you should notice an improvement within the growth cycle of the hair after 60 days.
